Hydrostatic TestingAEIS performs Hydrostatic Testing on Hose assemblies, Pressure Vessels and pressure piping components in our laboratory. We utilize state-of-art hydrostatic testing system similar to the ones used by U.S. Air Force. We use a safe air operated unit that supplies output pressures from 0 to 6000 psi. We can use potable water, P-D-680 solvent, MIL-H-5606 hydraulic fluid or other petroleum based fluids for testing. All gages are calibrated and traceable to NIST.

Work is performed to various codes and standards such as ASTM E1003, F2164, ANSI B 31.1, B31.3, ASME Sec V, ASME Sec VIII, NFPA 1962.

Our third party inspection personnel also perform hydrostatic test “witness” services for critical piping components.
