BASIC PHASED ARRAY MANUAL WELD SCAN UT (NDT403)

Who should attend?
Any Level II or III UT technician aspiring to acquire the knowledge on application, advantages and limitation of PAUT and familiarize and understand the operation of the equipment.

Technicians starting point: UT Level II or Level III
Minimum required work experience in UT: 1 year as a practicing UT level II or Level III

For this course we strongly recommend participants possess Level II or Level III certification in ultrasonic testing and good working knowledge and hands on practical experience in ultrasonic testing of welds.

Why this course by AEIS?
The course instructors are experienced and practicing ACCP NDT Level III and Level II. The information is presented in an easy to understand manner with extensive hands on exercises. Lab exercises involve samples simulating field conditions. AEIS is an Olympus NDT Training Academy member with access to a wealth of information from the technology leader who have been in PAUT for over 20 years.
