AEIS passes AWS Accredited Test Facility Audit with Flying Colors.
AEIS was audited by the American Welding Society to perform "Certified Welder" tests as an "Accredited Test Facility". The audit went very smoothly with the auditor appreciating our Quality Manual, Facility and Personnel. Kudos to the AEIS team at Linden, NJ. As of November 1st, 2009, NYC Building Code requires all welders (Structural and piping) working in the NYC to possess either AWS or NYSDOT certification.

After receipt of formal documentation from AWS next week, we shall be able to administer the AWS CW certification examination at our facility in Linden, NJ OR at the client's facility.

AEIS continues to grow with the addition of Metallurgical and NDT laboratory in Linden, NJ. The laboratory is headed by Herbert Goldenberg, P.E., former owner of City Testing & Research Laboratory, Rahway, NJ.
