Plumbing/ HVAC failures have resulted in leakages and flooding in numerous buildings. This results in lost time and damage to property, as is evident from numerous law suites due to failure of boilers, fire water pipes, drainage lines, and associated electric fires. Leakages in plumbing systems are caused by improper assembly of joints (soldered/ brazed/ welded/ threaded), sub-standard fittings,
corrosion, pressure surges, traffic loads and non compatible pumping equipment. AEIS metallurgists have analyzed HVAC failures from over pressure due to design deficiencies, corrosion from sub-standard insulation, choking from fabrication debris. Plumbing failure has been observed from poorly soldered joints, draining of acidic liquids, manufacturing deficiencies of fittings.
