Our routine weldability reports have information regarding the chemical composition, Carbon equivalent and recommendation of electrodes that may be utilized. In addition, we also perform fabrication weldability tests as follows:

- Lehigh restraint
- Controlled Thermal severity
- Cruciform delayed cracking Tests.
Weldabilty Coupon Extraction— In order to determine weldability of existing structures, it is sometimes necessary to extract the sample from the project site. We aim to extract the smallest possible coupons from structures, thereby maintaining the structural integrity of an existing structure.
- Residual Stress Analysis: Residual Stress measurements in welded assemblies are sometimes required to be determined. The most practical technique for determining residual stresses is as desribed in ASTM Standard E837. Special strain gage rosettes and miniature blind hole drilling (0.03”-0.16”) are utilized to evaluate residual stresses in structures.
